There are a variety of treatments available if you are looking to address tired-looking eyes. These treatments range from topical eye creams to surgery and everywhere in between. I would say the two best treatments for tired-looking eyes include injectables and surgery.

Nonsurgical options

If you’re interested in a minimally invasive way to help rejuvenate the eyes, the best treatments are either Botox to help smooth out the crow’s feet or an injectable hyaluronic acid based filler to help smooth out the under eye area. These treatments can be very powerful for helping the appearance of hollow, dark, tired-looking eyes.

Surgical intervention

For patients who are beginning to notice a little bit of excess skin in the upper eyelid or the lower eyelid, or puffiness underneath the eyes, surgery is typically going to be your best bet. An upper or lower eyelid blepharoplasty is a short, elegant procedure that can help you restore the tired appearance of your eyes without making you look like a completely different person.

The goal of any eye-related procedure is to keep you looking like yourself, but a little less tired looking. If you have questions about this topic, I would suggest speaking to your doctor or plastic surgeon.
